A Comparative Study Of Chinese And Thai Affixes

The affixes of Chinese and Thai are very distinctive in terms of speech,semantics and pragmatics,and therefore are important parts of language.Now the people in Thailand to learn and use Chinese become more and more,but due to the differences in language,culture and social history,it makes the use of Chinese affixes in learners,often occur problems as wrong using due to lexical errors and other reasons.At the same time,the Chinese that learn Thai have the same problem.At present,in the study of Chinese and Thai vocabulary,few people pay attention to the difference of the affix in these two languages.Therefore,the subject of this thesis is the study of Chinese and Thai affixes.This paper consists of five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,introduces the research literature review,content,significance,method and related theoretical basis;the second chapter is the introduction of affixes,which mainly expounds the terms,types and definitions of the affixes in Chinese and Thai;the third chapter is the comparative analysis of Chinese and Thai affixes,which mainly aims at the comparison of the part of speech,the meaning and the function of the two language affixes;the fourth chapter aims at the teaching analysis of Chinese derivatives,sorting out the errors in the use of Chinese derivatives by Thailand students,analyzing the causes of errors,and putting forward the strategies and methods for teaching Chinese;the fifth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the research results of this subject.This paper makes a comparison and analysis of Chinese and Thai affixes,hoped that the research results can bring some enlightenment to Chinese and Thai vocabulary research,to offer help to correctly understand the similarities and differences between Chinese and Thai affixes,at the same time,it also provides some reference materials for scholars interested in the study of Chinese and Thai affixes.
