Errors Analysis About The Thai Students Of Chinese Professional In Chinese Verb-directional Structure

There are 22 directional verbs of common verb-directional expression in modern Chinese.In terms of semantics,there are two Chinese verb-directional expressions such as basic meaning and extended meaning.In terms of the structure,because of different types of objects,the Chinese verb-directional is divided into four types including non-object,later-object,middle-object and “ba” structure.The predecessors research focuses on the verb-directional ontology,such as the semantic of directional verbs and the structure of verb-directional,and the research on errors analysis based on the student studying abroad.This paper conducts the error study with the survey object of the local Chinese language students in Thailand,in the form of questionnaire to collect the error corpus.We mainly analyze the errors corpus from the two aspects of structure and semantics.Among them,the structure is divided into the non-objective verb-directional.error,the general-object verb-directional.error,the place object verb-directional error and the error of “ba” structure.About the semantics,we have analyzed total twenty two error situation“come,up,come up,come down,come in,come out,out,come back,back”and so on.Through the analysis above,this paper summarizes four reasons about the error:(1)negative transfer of mother tongue;(2)overestimation of target language rules;(3)teaching arrangement is not a system;(4)individual differences.Finally,we propose the corresponding strategies for these reasons from three aspects:(1)About the selection of teaching materials,the school should select the teaching materials suitable for the students’ Chinese level,and strengthen the grammar theoretical knowledge when students learn Chinese verb-directional.(2)About teachers,they should clear precisely the differences of verb-directional expression of two languages and guide students to conduct a comparative analysis of verbs-dirctional in Chinese and Thai(3)About learners,they should review timely when students learn the simple verbs-directional to lay a solid foundation for learning the complex verbs-directional expression.
