Resilience is a hotspot of research in positive psychology.It plays a very important role in the individual’s mental health.China is in a special stage of transformation and development,and more and more migrant children have caused widespread concern of public.The purpose of this study is to study the current status of resilience,bullying and being bullied behaviors of migrant junior middle school students and explore the internal relations between them to provide a theory for the health and comprehensive development of migrant junior middle students and the social environment they need.The study used the resilience scale and the Olweus Chinese Bulletin Questionnaire(Chinese version)to survey 474 migrant junior middle students to understand their resilience and the status and relationship of bullying and bullied behavior.According to the research,we can know:(1)The resilience of migrant junior middle students is in the middle and lower levels.And there was no significant difference between different gender and grade of migrant junior middle students.(2)The bullying and bullied behavior of migrant junior middle students are above average.The difference between different gender and grade is extremely significant.(3)There was a significant negative relation between the total score,the various dimensions of resilience of migrant junior middle students and bullied behavior.There was a very significant negative correlation between total scores of resilience,tenacity and strength and bullying behavior.The optimistic dimension is negatively correlated with bullying behavior.However,the negative correlation is not significant.In the high resilience group,the scores of bullying and bullied behaviors of migrant junior middle students is significantly lower than those of the low resilience group.Group counseling research process and results:Based on the measurement results of the first part and the teachers’ responses,the participants were screened,and 24 students with higher and lower levels of resilience were selected and assigned to the experimental group and the control group respectively,and the experimental group was subjected to eight groups of counseling.The control group did not make any intervention.After the group counseling,the experimental group and the control group are measured again.In combination with group member’s satisfaction rate and leaders’ observations,the effectiveness of group counseling was evaluated from multiple perspectives.The results show that the resilience of the experimental group has significantly improved,and its bullying and bullied behaviors have been significantly reduced.That is to say,group counseling can effectively improve the level of resilience of migrant junior middle students and reduce their bullying and bullied behaviors. |
