Research On The Uyghur Translation Of New Chinese Words In Newspapers Since The 18th National Congress

The emergence of new words is the concrete embodiment of social development.After the 18 th National Congress,China has entered a new era of comprehensive deepening reform.All kinds of new ideas and new things have sprung up like mushrooms.Especially new Chinese words,as the fresh blood of language,is a mirror of social progress.As a mass media,newspapers is one of the most important ways for people to understand new things and learn new ideas.Newspapers and new words are a pair of "good friends" which complement each other.The newspapers spreads the new words further,and screens them more incisively.The new words injects new blood into the newspapers,which makes the expression more novel and concise,with better communication effects.Nowadays newspapers has become one of the important materials for people to study new Chinese words and their Uyghur translation.Therefore,the Uyghur translation of new words in newspapers is of great significance for publicizing the party's policies,strengthening national communication,enriching Uyghur language and finding supplementary translation theories.Newspapers,radio,television,and the Internet are the four mediums of modern news media,but newspapers has different characteristics and requirements from the other three.The translation of new words in newspapers is an innovation in translation of this ancient activity.It must be bound by traditional translation theories and principles,and it must also meet the requirements of news style.This paper defines the new Chinese words in newspapers,analyzes the features of new words and the requirements of the press style of newspapers,generalizes the four characteristics of new Chinese words in newspapers,the three basic principles and three main methods of translation.Yili Daily and Xinjiang Daily are the most authoritative media in Uyghur newspapers,to find examples in them,and do detailed research on their translation strategies,which has a very good reference value for the translation of new words.Therefore,this paper focuses on the analysis of new Chinese words in Yili Daily and Xinjiang Daily,to find constraints in newspapers carrier of translating new Chinese words and how to deal with this problem,so as to achieve both the purpose of translation and good communication effect.In the study,it was found that the newspapers layout has a great influence on the choice of words.Therefore,abbreviated new words are very common in newspapers.This paper divides abbreviated new words into standard abbreviation and abstract abbreviation,and gives out different translation methods to different types,and from the perspective of the new words propagation explains why abbreviated new words have brief form but explicit meaning,to avoid its short and take advantage of it.It is also found that the metaphorical new words play a large part in the Chinese new words in newspapers,the key to the translation of metaphorical new words is to recognize that metaphor is not only a rhetorical device but also a cognitive way.So this paper puts forward three translation strategies of Uyghur translation of metaphorical new words:preserving image,reciprocal translation;transforming image,equivalent translation,;discarding image and interpreting.At last,this paper also makes a brief analysis of the problems in the translation of newspapers,such as simple errors and inaccurate translation.
