Research On Xiao Hong’s Biography

The complexity of Xiao Hong’s identities,legends and experiences of the heroine,unique forms and styles of Biography,limitations of the existing studies,are the problems in researching Xiao Hong’s biography.Therefore,it is very necessary for our researchers to conduct some new and systematic studies on the biography of Xiao Hong.This paper firstly divides the biographies of Xiao Hong into three types(Relatives Biography,Critical Biography,Female Biography)from the perspective of biographical morphology.When shaping images of Xiao Hong,inspecting Xiao’s emotional life,physical condition,wandering and writing experiences,specific functions and their characteristics of various biographies are explored.What’s more,in each type of biographies,a case is reviewed,where biographical narrative techniques,biographers’ writing positions and the nature of biographies are also further analyzed.Finally,We find that Xiao Hong’s biography is essentially to express the biographer’s standpoints of Politics,Emotion,Academy and Gender.In this sense,Xiao Hong is not the heroine,but the "context" encapsulated by the social and political ideology,the humanistic and scientific ideology and the popular cultural ideology.What’s worse,it is not only in the biography,but also in the intellectual history,the textbook,the art,the film and television,the Internet,even the brochure,that "Xiao Hong" is encapsulated.However,whether the image is true or not,as a female writer,Xiao Hong can be able to have an eternal life,and become a "story",a "classic",and a "filed ",which is always a good thing.By means of the research methods of comparative,interdisciplinary and text analysis,combined with the theories of Biography,Narratology,Psychoanalysis and Feminism,this paper not only discusses the problems of truth and fiction,political and literary nature,emotional attitudes and gender positions in the biographies of Xiao Hong,but also tries to solve the difficulties which widely exist in the field of modern biography.In addition,deep reflections on Xiao Hong and Chinese modern female writer’s fate during their life and in the mouths of men is also be made.On this basis,seeking a new field for the study of Chinese modern female writers is also an important intention of the paper.
