A Study Of Xiao Hong's Biography

As a real person,Xiao Hong's image has been constructed by different versions of biographies,and her works have been reviewed by different versions of biographies.Due to the different cultural environments of the biographers in different times and the different understandings of the biographers in the same time,Xiao Hong's biography presents the characteristics of diversity.Some biographies are mainly about Xiao Hong's life,while others are mainly about her literary works.No matter from the Angle of life or from the point of view of literary works,both have their own emphasis and infiltration.Xiao Hong became Xiao Hong because of her literary achievements.However,the review of her literary works can not be separated from the background of her times,the two are mutually dialectical.This paper will study Xiao Hong's biography from three aspects.One is to study the contribution of Xiao Hong's biography to her research.More than 100 biographies of Xiao Hong have been written on a large scale,which promotes her research.T he contribution of Xiao Hong's biography to the study of Xiao Hong lies in the fact that the biographer tries to make Xiao Hong as real as possible through the exploration and study of historical facts.In the process of excavation,Xiao Hong's image is enriched,which provides us with the material basis for interpreting Xiao Hong.As researchers of Xiao Hong's works,In particular,Gerhardt analyzes Xiao Hong's works from the perspective of pure literature,which makes the study of Xiao Hong gradually get rid of the limitation of “left-wing literature”.The second is to find the true Xiao Hong through the cross-reading of biographies and texts.The main function of biography is to present the reader with a true master through the excavation of historical materials.However,because each biographer has different grasp and choice of historical materials,different biographies present different main images.If we want to find the real Xiao Hong,we need not only to interpret the biography carefully,but also to understand the text.Xiao Hong is an autobiographical writer,many of his works appear Xiao Hong's figure,and like recording the daily "Market Street" and Xiao Hong some correspondence,but also we understand Xiao Hong first-hand information.Combine the two seriously.Unscrambling,digging out a real Xiao Hong is the main work of the second part of this paper.Third,Xiao Hong's biography is wrong and correct.In more than 100 Xiao Hong biographies,because the biographer is restricted by the objective environment and writing level,the quality of Xiao Hong biographies written is also mixed.Aiming at the outstanding problems in biographies,this chapter points out the errors and needs correction in biographies,and provides some suggestions for the writing of biographies in the future from the point of view of researchers.
