China's top ten classical comedies is the most representative collection of Chinese classical comedy works,and its artistic achievement is closely tied to the successful use of rhetoric.The thesis takes the figurative rhetoric of the book as the research object.On the basis of collecting and collating the figurative rhetoric in the book,it carries on the systematic analysis and research,which can help us have a better understanding of the common rhetorical figures in the book.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter sorts out previous research results.Currently,the researches are organized around these areas: the history of comedy,drama language,comedy spirit and certain book or author of the collection.The second chapter divides the type of the rhetoric in the collection,and studies the examples.The third chapter explores and distinguishes the types of the vehicle in the book,which is considerable,sharp,implicit and symbolic.The fourth chapter discusses the function of metaphor rhetoric in the book,including shaping the character image,tracing the character mood,for the post-ambush pen,the explanation reason,the manufacture joke.The fifth chapter analyzes the cultural connotation embodied in the figurative rhetoric of the China's top ten classical comedies from three aspects of literary policy,anti-feudal ethics and comic spirit.The sixth chapter summarizes the full text.Comedy is an indispensable art type in contemporary literary creation,and the study of metaphor rhetoric in China's top ten classical comedies provides a theoretical reference for contemporary comic creation.
