The Reserch Of Traditional Village Named Maluxi In Anhua County

The ministries of housing、culture and finance started the investigation of Chinese traditional villages,united with state administration of cultural heritage,in April,2012.In 19th,December of the same year,the list of Chinese traditional villages was published,which has included the Maluxi Village in Anhua County,Hunan Province.Compared with some of the famous villages,Maluxi Village is unknown to public.However,I thought it was worth being protected after field investigation.The traditional buildings have a certain scale in the region,and the architectural structure of the buildings is simple and unadorned,deserved to be protected.However,a lot of villagers are willing to rebuild their houses with the rapid urbanization in China.Most of them do not realize the historical and cultural value of the traditional buildings,which I tried to find out by my study.I surveyed a traditional building in Maluxi Village,then analyzed the material and structure of it.In the following years,I went to some other traditional villages in Hunan and Guizhou Provinces,and compared them to Maluxi village in layout mode and structure.At the same time,I paid a lot of attention to national policy.My research brought forth conclusions.The traditional architectures were built by column and tie construction.The preservation and reform at traditional domestic architectures is an important issue,because the traditional architectures are epitomes of Chinese culture.We should not use the same strategy to protect and develop the different traditional villages,cause everyone of them has its own character,decisions are supposed to be made on a "case by case" basis.I ended the article by giving my own suggestions about how to protect Maluxi village.
