| As a core activity of life,work has an important impact on subjective well-being.Previous research had some contradictory results about the relationship between work hours and subjective well-being.Some researchers suggested that work time,however,as a source of pressure,had negative affect on subjective well-being.Nonetheless,many researches revealed that work time had positive affect on subjective well-being.Based on the person-organization fit theory and conservation of resources theory,we indicate that employee have different expected work time due to the diversity of financial situation,work attitude and so on.Considering real work time and expected work time simultaneously will help us to discover the relationship between work time and subjective well-being.On the account of summarized of literature studies,we tested the influences of the congruence of work time fit on subjective well-being.Secondly,we distinguished two kinds of work-time misfit and tested the relationships between two kinds of work-time misfit and well-being.Finally,we tested the mechanisms underlying the two relationships.Results indicate that:(1)The congruence of work time fit have positive impact on subjective well-being.(2)The degree of positive misfit has negative impact on subjective well-being,emotional exhaustion mediated the relationship.(3)The degree of negative misfit has negative impact on subjective well-being,basic psychology needs mediated the relationship. |
