The Appreciation Ofandy Warhol's Work <<The Golden Marllyn Monroe>>

This thesis mainly about how to appreciation of the works that named <<The golden Marilyn Monroe>>of Andy Warhol”s.And this painting was extended by open to discuss the problem in which the fate of women in the ideology of consumer society.Andy Warhol was the godfather to the United States of pop movement in the1960 s.Through to observation of the consumer Society,he get the essence of it.Then he use pop art to criticism of this society.Works”Marilyn Monroe”series belongs to Andy”s “death”series works.This series mainly reflect the huge problem that women were been physical and been played by men of the consumption social environment.Andy intends to made the same image that Monroe to show in front of the public in his works.The image is to appear the object of the male”s desire and showing her as a commodity”s attribute.Such works is cold and without a trace of emotion.So it is ghastly.Monroe,As a commodity became a picture,and this picture is also a commodity.The key is the picture showed the cruelty of social goods.Thus,in the consumer society,the collusion between the patriarchal culture and consumer culture has made the women more marginalized of her social status and her roles.In the consumer society,the interests of the people in the back has begin fierce fight about the interests.Then prompting the death of a series of political victims.And Monroe”s death is the result of political and consumer society in collusion with the murder.Today”s China society is very similar to the 1960 s American social environment,whether it is a star or a civilian,women in the city or rural women,most of them can not escape the results as a commodity.But it is also because of the huge power of capital,the current women want to get rid of the fate of the physical is also has a way that just need to pay more great efforts.My works is also based on the plight of the fate of women.But thedifference is that I am not based on the physical and chemical state of the characters,but rather on the expression of the psychological activities of the characters of people.In the form of painting language which I use a red rope to symbolize the bound from the reality environment to women,and use women”s subjective perspective to draw the female”s feeling about the pain,bondage,etc...by the illusion of the reality environment.The red rope,with rough texture that when your eyes touch it will have aching feeling.And coupled with the entanglement hogtie,the more emotional pain can feel from the viewer experience.The material is oil painting.The innovative point of this series is to convey the author”s psychological experience by using the subjective lens in the film language,because it can make the audience feel the same way.But overall,the intensity is too weak compared to Andy”s works.Except painting,I also created a device works and trying to explain the consumer society environment how to impact girl's living.To use the concept of wardrobe is also fit this point of view.
