A Study On Lüshun And Dalian’s Support For The Liberation War

In August 1945,the Soviet Union sent troops to the northeast of China and garrisoned the area of Lüshun and Dalian,according to the "Treaty of Friendship and Alliance between China and the Soviet Union ".In the beginning of the liberation,the area of Lüshun and Dalian was under the Soviet military control.After the establishment of the Communist Party of China in this regime,Lüshun and Dalian became a special liberated area under the Soviet military control,led by the Communist Party of China.Under the complex background of the Soviet authorities,the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang,the area of Lüshun and Dalian had made an important contribution to support the liberation war.This paper uses Marx’s standpoint,viewpoint and method to study.Using the methods of literature research,this paper reaches the specific practices of supporting for the liberation war and influences of the evolution and development of Sino-Soviet relations on the support for the liberation war.Taking L ü shun and Dalian’s support for the liberation war as perspective,the study reaches the historical backgrounds,the favorable conditions,the specific practices,characteristics and experience of supporting the liberation war.This paper is divided into four parts,in addition to the introduction,the main body is divided into the following three parts,First,the historical backgrounds and favorable conditions of supporting the war of liberation."Yalta agreement" and "Treaty of Friendship and Alliance between China and the Soviet Union " met the intention of the Soviet Far East strategy.Soviet troops entered and garrisoned the area of Lüshun and Dalian and the Kuomintang’ s failure to take over the area.With supports of the Soviet Union,the Communist Party of China established the political power and the local armed forces,which led the people to support the liberation war and production recovery.Second,the specific practices of supporting the war of liberation.There was a change from “grabbed” to support for the CPC rationally.And through promoting public propaganda,mobilizing the masses,dealing with the conflict between the CPC and the Soviet Union timely,the CPC sought support for the liberation war.The CPC established a covert military munitions production base with other liberated areas,developed customs trade,organized small and medium-sized industrial production,established various kinds of institutions of higher learning and organized medical teams,which providing military supplies and manpower to support the liberation war.Third,the characteristics and enlightenment of supporting the war of liberation.The area of Lüshun and Dalian was led by the Communist Party of China and it was the rear base to training and recuperation for national cadres as well.In this area,the control rights and leadership was separated,the work and support for the liberation war were secret,all the above were different from other liberated areas.The practices to support the liberation war provide important enlightenment: strengthen the party’s leadership and the position of public opinion,and adhere to the principle to make diplomatic relations flexible.The study is not only of great historical significance,but also profound practical significance.
