As the rising of Internet technology and the advent of the information era,the information is spewing in our daily life.However,due to the limited ability of people's understanding and absorption,more and more people are overwhelmed by information and the phenomenon of information anxiety appears in our social life.As a result,the information integration and presentation play an significant role in this era.What's more,"vision" is regarded as a main way of human receiving and understanding information.Graphics,one way of vision,can enhance not only the understanding ability but also the memory in the information transmission,which makes the complex information simple and understandable.Therefore,the visualization of information--the design of infographics is a field that designers need to pay close attention to it.In modern society with highly developed material civilization,people's needs are complex and multi-level.What people need are not merely functional satisfaction which is the basic need,but meeting the mental needs such as social respect,self realization,aesthetic and so on.Therefore,the research on infographic design is not only summarizing the infographic design theories,but also constructing the emotional design method of infographics,which is combined with the theories of emotional design.By doing this,it can help people accept simple information even help them understand and memorize the information through the emotional experience so as to improve the efficiency of information acceptance.At present,in terms of the domestic studies,there is still a lack of theoretical research on the emotional design of infographic.Most of them concentrate on analyzing emotional factors of infographics design,which lacks in methodology.However,the present study,based on the previous studies and the core of Norman's emotional design theory,focuses on the construction of the emotional design method for infographic design.This paper is going to conclude the relevant theories of infographic by make full use of literature review,and makes it clear that the infographic design is a visual representation of information integration which is based on cognitive psychology rather than a design of simple graphic elements.According to the presentation types of information,the infographics are divided into data infographics,process infographics and graphic infographics.Combining case analysis method with Norman's theory of three levels of emotional design the study discusses and analyzes the general and individual characteristics of different types of infographics,and constructs the specific designing methods and principles of the infographics in the different levels of emotional design.Finally,by means of experimental creation method,the paper will combine with the shortcomings of the product description to prove the experimental creation how to be used in the product description so that it can verify the theory of this study.Meanwhile,it can solve the problems that the information expressions is not clear in the product description in the current markets and it can reduce information anxiety and promote enterprise development.
