Toponymy And Indoctrination: A Research On Toponymy About The Southeast Of Guizhou Period From Qing Dynasty To The Republic Of China

Toponymy as a geographical name of object,is the product of the development of human history.The creation of a name,which is a proprietary name given to a geographic entity by human beings through observation and understanding of long life and the surrounding environment of life.This kind of toponymy is the side of the social development "mirror",it is can not only reflect the characteristics of the natural geographical environment,but also reflect the social development of regional political characteristics and national production and living conditions.This paper mainly analyzes the names of natural names and political places in the Southeastern Guizhou during the period from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,especially research and explorate the connotations of educational significance in administrative divisions.The toponymy of the southeastern Guizhou from the times of The Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,both reflect the local natural and national language characteristics of the natural names,but also the Central Plains dynasty in order to facilitate the governance and set up political district names.In contrast,the setting and change of geographical names in the southeastern Guizhou are much more complex than those of natural names.The government has named or changed the names of the districts in order to facilitate the administration.And as a direct result of administrative divisions-political toponymy is political barometers,reflecting the relationship between central government and local directly.Through the implementation of education to influence the people and habits,and then to appease the people and the purpose of stable rule,which is an important means for government to get on social governance.Every ruler wants his own rule to be a long day,and the district is thriving.But when the emperor's will or court intention is closely linked with the toponymy,it produces a special toponymy,that is,teching place names.During the period from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,the empowered names contained both the "enlightened" names of the Confucianists in the Qing Dynasty and the new educational theory of the Republic of China.During this period,the names of the southeastern Guizhou also experienced the development process from the place of enlightenment to the name of enlightenment.
