Recently,with the rise of the study of the history of daily life,the academic community has become more and more interested in the life and culture of the people.At the same time,it has also attracted the attention of pedagogy,and has led to the cultural turn of pedagogic research.This article is based on the research interest of folk nursery rhymes in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.This study will interpret the textual characteristics and literary characteristics of folk nursery rhymes from a folk perspective,and explain the internal relationship between folk nursery rhymes and traditional folk enlightenment.This study focuses on a folk sample—folk nursery rhymes in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,and analyzes the nursery rhymes around the core issue of “folk culture and traditional enlightenment.”Based on this core issue,this study aims to answer the following four questions: What kind of cultural characteristics does the nursery rhymes show in the text? As a tool for folk enlightenment,how is the nursery rhyme in the space of folk enlightenment? And how is the relationship between nursery rhymes and local customs,residents' lives and so on? How are children educated in nursery rhymes?This research will use qualitative research methods to collect and arrange folk nursery rhymes.On this basis,the methods of pedagogy,folklore and literary are used,and text analysis are used to deeply explore the information contained in the texts of folk nursery rhymes,so that the research will reach authenticity and objectivity.There are four main findings.Firstly,the folk nursery rhymes in this period have four characteristics.Secondly,the image of children in the folk nursery rhymes is characterized by beautification and imagination,and presents three typical children's images.Thirdly,folk enlightenment is hidden in daily life,traditional morality is often embodied in a life and non-dramatic way.Fourth,folk nursery rhymes are integrated with local cultural,customs and residents' lives,effect on local enlightenment cooperatively.
