In this dissertation,"Bandits on the Silk Road" means someone who were a threat to merchants,diplomats,monks and other passengers on the Silk Road.In most cases,robbery on the Silk Road is fully prepared.Normally,a group of bandits have dozens or even hundreds of people.In general,treasures are the bandits' favourite,but it is interesting that,in India,some bandits even robbed old and torn clothes! Maybe the reason is they are the lowest sect in the caste system.And for a certain section of the bandits,their aims are for political purposes.In the preparation stage,the bandits have organized a gang of bandits,weapons and other works.In the implementation stage,the bandits always chose valley to rob,and a lot of bandits chose the mountains,or at the foot of the mountain,near the settlement,forests,rivers,grassland to rob.Bandits have been made an escape plan in the preparation stage,if the robbery is successful,it is very easy to get away.In case of severe resistance,with the harsh environment,they would escape.In order to defense bandits on the Silk Road,some countries along the Silk Road and caravan have taken a lot of measures.After deep research,it was found that the Silk Road changes would made a lot of ordinary people become bandits.
