In today's society is the information technology high speed development of society,the Internet as an important platform of enterprises and organizations and tools,greatly improve the staff's working efficiency(Lim,2002).But also because the Internet brings convenience and richness,ma kes some employees at work to use the Internet to do some thing has nothing to do with the job(Blanchard and Henle,2008).The researchers gave the employees in the enterprise working hours using the Internet to engage in voluntary activities has nothing to do with the job of the phenomenon is called cyberloafing(Lim,2002).Cyberloafing is in the Internet era,enterprises and organizations,a common phenomenon in life have a survey,employees in the daily routine will spend at least an hour for non-work related activities,most of the time on the Internet(Salary.com,2009).Past for cyberloafing behavior most is the study of the enterprise,few research of school cyberloafing but as school the widespread use of the Internet,more and more researchers begi n to pay close attention to cyberloafing behavior in school.But most of the research is based on undergraduate students as an object,few people pay attention to graduate student group cyberloafing and previous study cyberloafing behavior measurement mainly concentrated on the major activities in the network at the time of the leisure activity,and the measurement and study of cyberloafing behavior motive less,this study intends to study of graduate student cyberloafing behavior motivation,prepare the relevant graduate students cyberloafing behavior motivation questionnaire,and the current status of graduate students cyberloafing behavior and motive for analysis.Through combing previous related literature about cyberloafing behavior and motivation,this research proposes the cyberloafing behavior and cyberloafing behavior motives operational definition,namely cyberloafing behavior refers to the individual should have in the use of computer network to complete the learning task(e.g.,read literature,writing articles/report and finish the teacher assigned homework,etc.),but use the Internet to carry out activities that has nothing to do with learning task or behavior.Cyberloafing behavior motivation is driven individuals to cyberloafing behavior psychological driving force.In reference to the research on the related literaure at home and abroad and related scale on the basis of,through the analysis of the 75 open questionnaire survey compiled contains 46 item,a preliminary survey questionnaire in cho ngqing southwest university to issue 250 questionnaires,recycling effective questionnaire 222,of the data b y SPSS16.0 software project analysis and exploratory factor analysis,formed the formal questionnaire contains 17 item.In chongqing,anhui and other places to issue a formal questionnaire 900,recycling effective questionnaire 800,using SPSS16.0,AMOS21.0 to test reliability and validity of data,the reliability test includes the internal consistency reliability and retest reliability analysis,validity inspection includes the content validity,structure validity and criterion validity analysis.Graduate student cyberloafing behavior motivation is discussed in the differences of demographic variables(gender,namely,the family home,only or not,and professional),at the same time also probes into the network behavior motivation and outer idle control sexuality and intermediary role between the Internet addiction.The results of this study show that:(1)the self-made student cyberloafing behavior motivation questionnaire consists of 17 items,hobbies include development,social interaction,the task to avoid temptation,regulation of body and mind,and network of five dimensions.(2)graduate student network includes leisure behavior motivation ques tionnaire has good,can be used as a measurement graduate student network reliability and validity of cyberloafing behavior motivation tool.(3)male and female graduate students on the cyberloafing behavior time shows no obvious difference,but the male a nd female graduate students in the cyberloafing specific activity is different,male graduate student cyberloafing when the main activities is playing games and watching the news,the female graduate student network are the main activities of online shopping and social idle talk.(4)female graduate students in social interaction and network temptation this two motivation dimension score significantly higher than that of male graduate student;Only children in the development of interest and body and mind adjust these two motivation significantly higher level not only children;Family home is located in the town of students in the development of this motivation significantly higher level family in rural students;Between different grades in the graduate student cyberloafing behavior motivation level did not show obvious differences.(5)graduate students cyberloafing behavior motives of the idle task avoidance motivation,regulation of body and mind,and network temptation and external characteristics and the partial intermediary effect between Internet addiction tendency.
