| Mogu as a form of Chinese flower-and-bird painting,has been the development of a long history.It originated from the northern and Southern Dynasties,matured in the Northern Song Dynasty,and developed in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty.Until today,there are quite a few artists still devoted to the exploration of the formal language of Mogu flower-and-bird painting.For thousands of years,the development process of Mogu flower-and-bird painting in the painting materials,technique,concept,ideology and artistic expression has a different degree of development and innovation.Especially since the reform and opening up,due to the integration of western culture,Mogu flower-and-bird painting has new change in stylistic features of formal language.With Rapid social development,painting form of Mogu flower-and-bird painting is continuous for its own evolution.Under the premise of adhering to the national characteristics,every Chinese painter today has to solve the matter of finding a suitable road for the development of contemporary Chinese painting and painting language to meet the aesthetic need of contemporary people.Intensive study on contemporary Mogu flower-and-bird painting in the form of language,it can not only deepen the understanding of Chinese painting,but also play an important role in the correct understanding of the inheritance and innovation of national heritage.In this paper,the research on the formal language through analysis of specific forms of elements in Mogu flower-and-bird painting in the creation of contemporary artists at the background of history,and combining with my own art work,the characteristics and advantages of the implementation of Mogu flower-and-bird painting form language are practicable in the creation of the author in order to convey his unique artistic pursuit.The form language is divided into two kinds including concrete forms and images,the theme comprises,mainly reflects in subject matter,composition,writing,color and texture.The typical representative artists of Mogu flower-and-bird painting,such as Ren Bonian and Yun Shouping in modern times,Pan Ying and Zhou Wusheng in contemporary times.In the course of the research,combining with personal practice on the basis of implementation to hackle experience of painting,it’s helpful for the development of Mogu flower-and-bird painting.The paper includes four chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,this chapter is a general description of the historical background,significance,main content,research methods and innovation of this thesis.The second chapter introduces the concept and development of Mogu flower-and-bird painting,and sums up some problems of contemporary Mogu flower development at the same time.The third chapter is the focus of this paper,the author mainly carried out the practical research and demonstration of Mogu flower-and-bird painting from the practice of individual creation.Through analyzing its language features,characteristics and functions,the author had deeply understood the diversified development of Mogu flower-and-bird painting formal language.The fourth chapter is the difficulty of this paper,through the study and application of Mogu flower-and-bird painting form language,the author had thought deeply the contemporary development of Mogu flower-and-bird painting.It mainly includes color and techniques.The combination of formal language and technique were realized in individual creation.Put forward some personal opinion about the innovation and diversified development of Mogu flower-and-bird painting formal language. |
