Because of the high risk of modern technology, the modern technology has brought a huge technological crisis, while providing efficient and convenient way of life for modern person.First of all,the destruction of material civilization, alienation, such as environmental pollution, ecological imbalance, energy crisis and population expansion, etc.,the consequences are caused by human material production conditions and deterioration of living environment, quality of life decline, serious obstacles The further development of material civilization.Second, the technology harms the spiritual civilization. It is mainly reflected in the development of science and technology with some negative moral phenomenon. In order to recognize and solve the technical crisis, many technical philosophers have put their concerns into the technical ethics, and Mitchell and Dewey are two of them.Although they have a gap in their lives, the technical problems they face are fundamentally the same. But,for different positions and perspectives, although both philosophers have an optimistic attitude towards technology, their technical philosophy still has a huge difference. This difference extends from their different perceptions of the nature of technology to their different orientations of technological ethics. But the idea of the two philosophers is not entirely different, and in the great difference there is still a considerable part of the common ground. This paper attempts to compare the different technical ethics thoughts of Mitch and Dewey from different technical philosophical ideas,so as to understand the ethical problems of various aspects. It is hoped that through the grasp of the similarities and differences between the two thoughts,we will find a better way of technological ethics for today's society and can inspire the construction of the society today.
