The frequency of word recurrence refers to the number of frequency of words in the teaching materials,which affects the learning effect of language learners.Therefore,the frequency of words is also one of the criteria for measuring teaching materials.Elementary of Practical medical Chinese is a set of widely used teaching materials prepared by the first-line teachers of many universities in China.In the context of the prosperity and development of medical Chinese,there is a need for its research.This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching materials in the first and second volumes of the textbooks and the frequency of the new words in the practice,and puts forward the suggestions of teaching materials and teaching.The paper consists of four parts: the first part of the introduction,the introduction of the topic of the topic value,research objects and methods.The second part introduces the theoretical and research status of memory and forgetting,Krashen input hypothesis and input frequency related to the paper.The third part is about the statistical results of the total words,word frequency,repetition level,recurrence interval and special repetition words in the text and practice.The fourth part according to the statistical analysis results,combined with the relevant theory put forward the corresponding suggestions and teaching methods.On the basis of investigating all the vocabulary,this paper investigates the medical vocabulary as the whole word,and divides the research object of the medical Chinese textbook into all the vocabulary and medical vocabulary,so that the research object is more concrete and more in line with the characteristics of the teaching material.According to the statistical analysis,this paper concludes:First,the average number of new words is higher;Second,the frequency of medical words more;Third,in addition to the second volume of teaching materials,the highest proportion of high frequency words;Fourth,two thirds of words can be reproduced in a timely manner.This paper puts forward the suggestion of enlarging the frequency of new words in the teaching material writing and teaching:First,set the text "essence part",extract the key statement,the samesemantic field words to sum up;Second,increase the students "hear" the word repetition rate by the use of question and answer skills,learn after-school exercises;Third,through the experiential teaching to increase the communicative practice.
