Under the background of global integration,with the enhancement of China's international influence,all parts of the world has set off a "Chinese fever".Students of primary schools,middle schools and high schools around the world all actively join the group of Chinese learning.Chinese learning is experiencing an unprecedented popularity.However,on the one hand,there is the growing number of Chinese learners,on the other hand,there is a growing shortage of teachers teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the teaching hardware.This situation has created good conditions and development space for the development of Chinese teaching TV programs.The advantage of the television medium itself promotes its development,but its disadvantage restricts the development.Advantages of Chinese teaching programs are reflected in the following aspects: in terms of the content,it restores the real life scene in front of the audience;in terms of the transmission form,it has "trinity" mode of transmission-sound,picture and subtitle;in terms of international marketing,it not only makes the audience learn Chinese knowledge,but also let them learn about Chinese culture or other countries' culture.But the one-way transmission form of TV media also has its disadvantages: the teaching objects are too scattered;poor affordability;poor sustainability;one-way transmission mode leads to the lack of feedback,etc.This paper conducts objective comparison and analysis on the Chinese teaching TV programs in China and Vietnam from the program orientation,program form,language teaching form,communication effect evaluation and other aspects.It focuses on the comparison and analysis of two excellent tourism programs in these two countries-Tourism and Life Chinese in China and Tourism Chinese in Vietnam,discusses in detail the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese teaching TV programs of China and Vietnam at multiple levels,including micro,meso level and macro level.It lastly points out suggestions for improvement and developing trend of Chinese teaching TV programs in China and Vietnam.As for improvement suggestions,the author thinks that we should firstly specify audience positioning and enrich program content;Secondly,we should carry on the culture transmission property of TV media,and optimize interactive channels;Thirdly,we should pay attention to program management and brand construction,lastly we should strengthen crossmedia cooperation and set up cross-media industrial chain so as to expand the horizontal development of Chinese teaching TV programs.
