Graphical Research And Application On Nushu Fonts

As a unique female character,Nvshu is the art treasure of the Chinese nation.With the improvement of current level of culture,the use of Nvshu communication fewer and fewer people,the protection of Nvshu imminent.In order to inherit the culture of Nvshu,the paper analyses its culture and the font characteristics by the study of Nvshu’s birthplace,then digs into the own artistic charm of the font.The fusion of connotation and figure of Nvshu can be used in design fields,to meet the modern aesthetic needs,so that Nvshu out of the closed state with a new image to spread and promote the development and inheritance of it.The paper discusses Nvshu from four parts.The first part analyses the origin,purpose and significance of the research project,and illustrates the current situation.It introduces that Nvshu,as the design element,has the unique charm.And it points out that the graphic innovation design of Nvshu font is of great significance to the inheritance of outstanding Chinese national culture.The second part discusses the origins and connotations of the Nvshu which gives a further introduction of it,then analyses the cultural values including the aspects of geography,aesthetics,nation and so on.Finally,it analyzes the Nvshu’s font characteristics,and the similarity between Nvshu’s font and modern form of character.The third part explores the graphic design of female book characters,and analyzes the graphic concept,special graphic features and characteristics to make the method of creative expression design,which is important for the graphic representation of female books in the design field.In the fourth part,the paper uses Nvshu’s figure in various fields of the design,highlighting its application and commercial value,so that the Nvshu’s font can be popularized and inherited.This can awaken people to enhance the consciousness of traditional culture protection.
