Chinese Character's Font Design Which Based On NVSHU's Characteristics

As one of China's intangible heritage,NVSHU Mainly be spread in Jiangyong County of Hunan,Dao county and other places.It is not only developed into a local culture,but also the Chinese' s rare art treasures.As the world's only female special text that be found by now,NVSHU has a distinctive originality,was inherited by the local residents.In recent years,many scholars come here especially for the study of NVSHU,and even spread it to overseas.It appears no later than the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and not only has a long history and be rich in content,but also has great significance to explore the modern font design of Chinese characters.Due to the nature of minority culture,"pass the female and does not pass male",be buried and other local customs,NVSHU that be spread today has gradually lost the vitality of the time,and have also lost many excellent NVSHU works.As the number of NVSHU's successors became scarce,people realized the importance of protecting this precious traditional culture.The writer believed that the study of NVSHU should not only stay in the historical significance,but also should extract it's excellent design elements by the excavation of it's font shape,writing rules,and draw on the text elements to the modern Chinese character font design,so as to achieve a better cultural heritage and innovation.This paper mainly from the NVSHU's background and the status quo analysis,have a in-depth understanding of the meaning of NVSHU's deeper culture.It analyzes the characteristics of NVSHU and Chinese characters,the possibility of the Application of the NVSHU Characters in the Design of Chinese Characters and the Design of Chinese Characters Based on the Characteristics of NVSHU and so on several aspects.In the design and search of Chinese characters,the writer combined with the main features of the NVSHU form,and perform a specific font design from the three aspects of stroke,structure and shape.
