Developed from rhetoric and literary criticism in the late 1960 s,narratology became an independent discipline, which was mainly applied in appreciation of structure and expression of literature works.By the end of the 20 th century, the emergency and rapid development of the post classical narratology broadened fields of study, including different media and genres, and involved every aspect of life. The narrative theory to translation is developed by Mona Baker, and the present author applies this theory to her translation practice and discusses the effect of translation in the process of participating and promoting narrations and discourse. The present author selects A Concise Companion to Feminist Theory as her source text and analysis object. It is a great work on feminism edited by Mary Eagleton, who is a reader in the School of Cultural Studies at Leeds Metropolitan University. It aims at integrating all theoretical orientation of feminism and classifying them.Based on narrative theory of Mona Baker, issues encountered in translating the text and ways in framing feminist academic text are discussed. Some translation skills and methods that are applicable in translating such texts would be presented by analyses of representative examples.
