The ethnic socialization is the core component of the national minority’s family upbringing,is about the national characteristics of information transfer between parents and children.It includes two aspects,firstly,the ethnic socialization of children parents transfer,namely transferred ethnic socialization information,refers to parents transfer the ethnic/racial characteristic information to the child through family behavior and communication,transferred how to understand and reply the conflict and interact information between the different ethnic groups;secondly,the ethnic socialization awareness of children,namely perceived ethnic socialization information,refers to the cognition and experience of children of ethnic socialization information of their parents transfer.This study uses two methods:situational experiment and the overall shape of the narrative analysis,and the Dai and Jingpo junior high school students,teachers and parents as the research object,Comprehensive study on influence of ethnic socialization subjective well-being and academic performance of two national youth from two aspects:the awareness(for children)and transfer(for parents)of ethnic socialization.Study one select 287 Dai people who are junior middle school students,and 240 Jinpo people who are junior middle school students.The subjects were required to accept the hypothesis to stimulate the conflict situation expressed in two-way bias,then response to the ethnic socialization awareness information,and to evaluate their well-being and academic performance,results show:After Dai,Jingpo Junior middle school students experience the conflict situation caused by two-way prejudice expression,the ethnic socialization information are perceived by decreasing order to promotion of harmony,culture socialization,preparation for bias,promotion of mistrust.Promotion of harmony information,culture socialization information and promotion of mistrust information that Dai students perceived are significantly higher than that of Jingpo students.Only perceived promotion of harmony can significantly affect well-being and academic performance of Dai and Jingpo junior middle school students.Meanwhile,the subjective well-being plays a part of intermediary role in the study.Study two selects teachers and parents of children who has real conflict events(including Dai and Jingpo)by purposive sampling,a total of 9 people were in-depth interviews.The data is overall shaped,and make it become the complete and conflict ethnic socialization story,then the story was analysed by the basic event frame,the results show that after children experienced real conflict,Dai and Jingpo teachers and parents transfer the information to children of interested in learning,promotion of harmony and authoritative report and so on,but in the frequency of occurrence of inconsistent.In addition,the teachers and parents of Dai transfer more promotion of mistrust information,and teachers and parents of Jingpo transfer more culture socialization information,preparation for bias information and encourage to ignore information.These information to affect individual academic performance,there are individual differences.In summary,we draw the following conclusions:1.After experienced conflict situation caused by two-way prejudice expression,there are four kinds of ethnic socialization information is perceived by Dai and Jingpo junior middle school students,the frequency shows decreasing:promotion of harmony,culture socialization,preparation for bias,promotion of mistrust.2.Dai junior middle school students perceived more promotion of harmony,culture socialization,promotion of mistrust than Jingpo.3.The well-being plays part of the intermediary role,perceived promotion of harmony of Dai and Jingpo junior middle school students can positively predict academic performance.The impact of culture socialization,preparation for bias,promotion of mistrust to Dai and Jingpo junior middle school students’ academic performance is not significant.4.Teacher is the important transmitter in transfer ethnic socialization information of Dai and Jingpo junior high school students during the conflict happened.peer has played an important role in reporting authority.5.Ethnic socialization information transfer of teachers and parents of the Dai and Jingpo exist cross ethnic consistency and ethnic differences after the children experience the real conflict.The consistency of their performance in the transfer of care learning,promotion of harmony of two kinds of information;the difference is Jingpo parents and teachers transfer more culture socialization information and preparation for bias information,and Dai parents and teachers transfer more report to authoritative information.6.the promotion of different ethnic socialization of parents and teachers transfer to children/students’ academic performance exist individual differences.whether ethnic socialization affect students’ academic performance is decided by children perceived ethnic socialization,especially promotion of harmony.
