Ethnic socialization through family education, is a core component of ethnic minorities family education, for children to grow up as a member of the minority has a key role. Parent ethnic socialization refers to parents for their children to pass the relevant ethnic characteristics and other information awareness. The children perceived ethnic socialization refers to the children of parents passed on ethnic characteristics of information awareness. Two cases were referred to as the ethnic socialization. Most of the current study used a cross-sectional design, single parents or children of ethnic socialization report. In order to better understand the dynamic interaction between parents and children, this study used a longitudinal research design, parents and children are matched, to review ethnic socialization and influencing factors in junior high school Jingpo students.The first research use "ethnic socialization scale", in the grade one and grade two in two stages, to review parents ethnic socialization and students perceived ethnic socialization of 81 parents and their students report. The two follow-up after 31 of participants. The results show that: Parents and students of ethnic socialization report indicate promotion of harmony most, followed by contacting with other ethnic groups, cultural socialization, preparation for bias, promotion of mistrust at least; The grade one and grade two stage parents ethnic socialization can predict students perceived ethnic socialization. Compared with the first stage, the second stage parents ethnic socialization show there has been a significant increase in promotion of harmony, cultural socialization and contacting with other ethnic groups, but the characteristics of students perceived ethnic socialization is not reflected.The second research use "ethnic socialization scale", "ethnic identity scale" and so on to review the relationship between ethnic socialization and parents ethnic identity, gender, ethnic composition of family residential community, the economic situation of the family. Design and study of the same object like the first research. The results show that: Girls than boys get more promotion of harmony. Parents from pure living area reported more cultural socialization. The cultural degree of education level of high school parents report more contacting with other ethnic groups than primary school, junior high school parents reported. Average household income parents reported more contacting with other ethnic groups than income is not good parents reported. Parent ethnic identity can significantly predict promotion of harmony, cultural socialization, preparation for bias, but cannot predict students perceived ethnic socialization.Conclusions of the research are as follows:1. promotion of harmony is the main content of ethnic socialization in Jingpo junior high school students.2. Students perceived ethnic socialization and parent ethnic socialization might be two separate systems. There is a low degree of consistency between them. With the increase of age, the parents transmitted information of ethnic socialization has changed, Compared with the first stage, second stage parents reported promotion of harmony, cultural socialization and contacting with other ethnic groups has increased significantly, but their children fail to perceive the changes significantly.3. Influencing factors of students perceived ethnic socialization contain students’ gender, Community environment, family income and parents’ education. Girls than boys get more promotion of harmony. Parents from pure living area reported more cultural socialization. Better household income, the higher the education level of parents transmitted more information of contacting with other ethnic groups. Parent ethnic identity can significantly predict promotion of harmony, cultural socialization, preparation for bias, but cannot predict student perceived ethnic socialization.4. Parent of higher national identity increase transfer information of promotion of harmony, cultural socialization, preparation for bias, but has no direct effect on students perceived ethnic socialization.
