Research On The Zheng Ming Thought Of Confucius In The View Of The Study Of Confucian Classics

The Chinese ideologists haven been trying to bring people out of the pit of misery for thousands of years,their thoughts were closely related to the social reality that they faced.Taking the Zheng Ming thought of Confucius for example,the social reality he faced was "The falling down of the ceremony and propriety",not only in Wei but also in the whole Spring-and-Autumn periods.Most of the classical scholars from the Han dynasty to the Qing dynasty had explained this,however,since modern times,under the influence of the western philosophy,the explanation of the Zheng Ming thought of Confucius trend to be more and more pluralistic,there are not so many article that discuss the Zheng Ming thought of Confucius in the view of the study of Confucian classics,thus,to some extent,makes the explanations of the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius being not so accurate.This article will based on the Spring and Autumn Annals,and put the Zheng Ming thought of Confucius in the view of the study of Confucian classics,I hope this article will be helpful to the right understanding of the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius.Firstly,this article will comb the explanations of the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius from the Han dynasty to the Qing dynasty,including “Zheng Ming for things”,“Zheng Ming for words” and “Zheng Ming for status“.I think these three opinions are consistent from within.Start with “Zheng Ming for words”,and then “Zheng Ming for things”,eventually “Zheng Ming for status“,these are three stages of the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius.Of course among the three stages,“Zheng Ming for status “is the most important one,describing things in accurate words,which final purpose is to explain the meaning of the status behind the things.To verify the above-mentioned conclusion,the second chapter will analyze the background of the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius based on the Spring and Autumn Annals.The backgrounds include the KuaiKui and KuaiZhe fight for the power of emperor and "The falling down of the ceremony and propriety" throughout the whole Spring-and-Autumn periods.This article will also figures out that these backgrounds are causes of the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius.In other words,the final propose of the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius is in political ethics.I think the Zheng Ming ideology of Confucius is difficult to realize in reality,so he revised the Spring and Autumn Annals to fulfill this idea.Therefore,this article will discuss how the Spring and Autumn Annals embodied the Zheng Ming thought of Confucius in the third chapter.This chapter will contain following parts: the basic aspects of words and the mixed judgment in status,and then figure out that the final purpose of revising the Spring and Autumn Annals is to make the rebellious ministers and villains feel frightened and make people do things good,once this goal is achieved,the Zheng Ming will finish too.At the last,this article will discuss the influences of the Zheng Ming thought of Confucius,on the one hand,it is the start of philosophers discussing the concept and entity in Pre-Qin,have promoted the multi-development of the theory of Ming.On the other hand,the Zheng Ming thought of Confucius expanded the orientation in political ethics of the Chinese Philosophy,which had affected Chinese society for thousands of years.
