A Study On The Belief Change Of Tibetan Buddhism In Mani Temple In Lanzhou

The Mani Temple which is located in Wuquan Park is a Tibetan Buddhist temple,it has a large size of the Buddhist buildings here relatively.Due to the superior location and the convenient traspotation,more and more Tibetan Buddhism believers and ordinary citizens are attracted to participate in the practice of religion.The development of the temple is an important part of Tibetan Buddhism development in Lanzhou.The two factors,which are located in the urban areas of many nationalities and the national religious policies,have an important influence on the development of the Buddhist belief in the temple.So the organization form,the monks in attendance,the size and the building style of the temple are different from the traditional Tibetan Buddhism.A certain amount of cultural variation appeared.At this stage,In addition to the rise of urban Buddhism and the influence of Buddhism on the secular,the government implements the separation of religious and state and has the policy on freedom of religious belief in the development of religious.That makes the Social function of Tibetan Buddhism Temple in the multi-ethnic towns change.Tibetan Buddhism itself also showed different trends of development.In this paper,combined with the field research and taking the Mani Temple as an example,I analyze the status of Tibetan Buddhist beliefs in multi ethnic towns,and discusse its future development trend.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly introduces the research temple and research methods,research status.The second chapter combined with the development of the Lanzhou area of Tibetan Buddhism,I understand the history and status of the Mani Temple.In the third chapter,I describe the Buddhist practice from the point of view of the believers and analyze its impact on the believers.The fourth chapter makes an analysis of the characteristics of Tibetan Buddhism's belief in the multi-ethnic urban areas,and describes its cultural changes and functional changes,and makes recommendations for its future development trend.
