E-C Translation Of FrameNet From The Perspective Of Skopos Theory

Under the guidance of Professor Liu Kaiying,Chinese FrameNet(CFN)was built in 2004 by Shanxi University.CFN is based on FrameNet,so the translation of FrameNet is very important for the building of CFN.Given this,it's very meaningful for us to recognize its text type and summarize its translation strategies and methods.According to the translation practice of 92 frames with over 56,000 words,this paper is based on the Skopos theory,this paper analyzes the characteristics of informational text,summarizes some difficulties in the translation,and discusses the corresponding translation strategies and methods.This translation report mainly includes four parts: The first part is task description,introducing the background and theoretical basis.The second part is translation process,including pre-translation,translation process and post-translation proofreading.The third part is case analysis,this part analyzes the text type and linguistic features of FrameNet from two aspects of lexical level and syntactic level,discussing the problems and solutions encountered in FrameNet translation.The fourth part is summary,summarizing the problems,translation strategies and feelings in FrameNet translation.
