The paper makes detailed analysis and research of Yan Lianke's Palou series by the method of detailed reading of the text of the new criticism, narrative and linguistic theory. The second part includes the first chapter to the third chapter, which is the main body of this paper. The first chapter analyzes the content carrier of Yan Lianke's Palou series novels. In content, there are a lot of extreme events and irrational characters in Yan Lianke's novels, such as collective prostitution for defying death, die of suicide for getting rid of the disease, paranoid village head with strong sense of power, the county who dreams of getting rich by politic way and fanatics who suffer from the madness disease of revolution and love. The Palou world fills with natural calamities and man-made misfortunes, dementia and disability, exhumation, raping and killing and other unconventional events. By intensive meticulous description and rendering, the author depicts a cruel world which is full of primitive struggle and vitality. This chapter makes discussion from three aspects of extreme subject, extreme characters and extreme plots. The second chapter analyzes the construction of extreme writing in Yan Lianke's Palou series novels. Its narrative paranoia (extraordinary use of onomatopoeia and cascade words, complex dialect slang language and red language), the abnormal deformation of stylistic structure (inverted space-time cable source, parallel control of text, narrative interludes), and extraordinary use of narrative strategies (slow narrative rhythm and huge narrative density, close narrative distance, frequent narration of extreme events), all of these which consist of language, style and narration form the construction of extreme narrative style in Palou series novels. The third chapter mainly discusses the internal perspective of Yan Lianke's extreme writing, mainly focusing on text perspective and the writer's psychological motivation. The frequent extreme events and the fate of characters in Palou mountains are allegory expression of the local social suffering. With his own pen, the writer presents Sisyphus revolt fable in the realm of extreme writing and deep desire of human nature in the suffering fable. Under the narrative paranoid in extreme writing, it is the writer 's psychological anxiety which comes from the life experience of the writer. As a writer in the writing opposite between the urban and the rural, his self identity anxiety comes from embarrassment of military and farmer identity in the urban and rural areas. His life experience and life in the military repression lead to power worship and fear. The death of his loved ones and the writer's own body illness lead to his life worship and fear to death. These are deep psychological mechanism of writer in extreme texts. The third part is the conclusion. His dedication to the exploration of art of novels creates a "wall art". But in the process of exploring the innovation of art form,he is deliberately in pursuit of innovation, bring problems of destruction of art beauty and rigid repetition of creation mode which caused by inadequate restraint.
