The Study On Two Word-marks’ Expressions

Word-formation model as one of effective way in creating new words,is very popular with language users,so it is a rising hotspot to study word-formation model in recent years.When word-formation model is widely used,there is a new phenomenon that the word-groove of a word-formation model is filled with another highly productive word-mark.In other words,a group of two word-marks’ expression comes into being,but this objective is still a new land which awaits being exploistated by linguistics.For such a special phenomenon,the study of two word-marks’ expression would make a preliminary investigation and discussion on the basis of previous studies from the aspects of word-formation,the classification,the evolution,the motivations of creating words and the agents of dissemination,to master the formation of new words through the generative mechanism of two word-marks’ expression and predict the development of new words more effectively.Chapter 1 is the introduction of this paper,which introduces the source of the subject,the guiding ideology,the previous research results,the purpose and significance of the study,and the source of the corpus.Chapter 2 mainly focuses on the structure and the type of two word marks’ expression,based on the corpus.This part investigates two word-marks’ expression in various aspects including word-formation materials,definition of part-of-speech,internal structure and types,and distinguish similarities and differences with the overlapping word-formation model,in order to generalize the common of two word-marks’ expression and the distinction with one word-mark’s expression.Combined with some cases,Chapter 3 contrasts the individual differences of two word-marks’ expressions,because of the chronological order which the former word-marks and the latter word-marks occurred in.In short,the two word-marks’ expression is a result of two or more word-formation models two-way expansion when they create words.This part would feature the the conditions when two word-formation models overlap in synchronic linguistics.Chapter 4 would apply general linguistics,sociolinguistics,cultural linguistics,cognitive linguistics and other relevant theoretical knowledge to go into the motivation of creating words.This part is trying to discuss two word-marks’ expression from these aspects,such as the inner mechanism of language,the thinking mode of Chinese Han national,cognitive model,the society’s development,the subjective demand of language users,alternation and combination of strong and weak Memes,etc.Applying the theories of Lexicology and Pragmatics,Chapter 5 analyzes the language functions and social functions which caused by two word-marks’ expression by studying the usage status of two word-marks’ expression.These functions are main motivations why two word-marks’ expression can be spread widely.The last chapter is postscript part of this paper,which predicts the future trend of two word-marks’ expression,and puts forward some feasible suggestions into the language specification.
