Female Images Of Han Fu

The female image is an important part of the Han Fu atlas,and also enriches the aesthetic implication of Han Fu.The description of the female image in Han Fu is unique,not only inherited the previous generation of literature on women's description model,but also added the elaborate character of Han Fu which describes the beauty of women with the language structure of Han Fu forms.It is because the female image of Han Fu is the organic constituent element of Han Fu's unique aesthetic connotation---shining like a pearl,that thesis focuses on the beauty of the female images in Han Fu and the comprehensive knowledge of the aesthetic character of Han Fu.Our study of female images in Han Fu includes the following four parts:The first chapter discusses the classification of female images in Han Fu and its background.The female images can be divided into seven types,such as the palace women,dancers,widows and deserted women and others.The background of these female images in Han Fu is inseparable from the prosperity of the Han Dynasty.In this era,the positive attitude of the Han people affects their creation being both praised and satirical.In the other hand,literati in the Han Dynasty lay emphasis on the female images because banquets with songs and dances are popular in Han Dynasty,and women are one of the indispensable entertainment factors.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics and the artistic technique of female images in Han Fu.Most of these female images are with perfect appearance,whose characteristics are stylization.The literati in the Han Dynasty adopt some unique artistic techniques in the description of women.The writing technique has been used,which made some images sharp and vivid,and some all-round depiction.In terms of language,they highly attached importance on repeatedly laying out and rhyme,etc.All these techniques help the female images in Han Fu more vivid and lively.The third chapter mainly discusses the aesthetic trend to women in Han Fu.From the perspective of the Han Dynasty,the aesthetic standard of the female images is different,which is mainly reflected in the aesthetic difference between the natural beauty and the artificial beauty,but the difference shows the aesthetic tendency of the feminization.In addition,by analyzing the works about male and female of the Han Dynasty,we can find the obvious gender differences.Furthermore,the attitude towards women significantly changes from depreciation to praise throughout the works about female in the Han Dynasty.To some extent,this change relates to the prevalence and downfall of the Confucianism in the Han Dynasty.The fourth chapter describes the literature significance of the female images in the Han Dynasty.The description of the female images in Han Fu undoubtedly not only enriches the images of characters in ancient Chinese literature,but also a successful attempt which literati adopt rhyme to shape the image of characters.As a result,this has a profound impact on the later literature,such as poetry and novel,especially on the depiction to female images.
