| China is one of the largest and fastest developing countries in the world.By the increasing international status and influence,Chinese has become a worldwide language.As friendly neighbour,Thailand has established frequent communication with China.And Chinese language education has existed in Thailand for hundreds years.After establishment of diplomatic between two countries,continual politics,economy,culture interchanges raise the ’Mandarin Fever’ in Thailand,which leading more and more Thai people interested in Chinese culture and language.As a historic university,Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University set up the Chinese language major and Confucius Institute in 2005 and 2006 respectively,which cultivated many talents with Chinese ability.This article focused on the teaching,teachers,students conditions and study motivation of Chinese major in Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University by questionnaire and investigation.Related problems and solutions at the present stage were proposed.There are six parts in this article.In the introduction part,purpose,significance,methods and ideas were shown and favorable factors and research achievements of Chinese language education in Thailand were introduced.In chapter one,conditions of teachers,materials and teaching were shown.In chapter two,specific circumstances of Chinese language teaching in Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University were presented.In chapter three,questionnaire of basic information and study motivation were collected and analyzed to study.In chapter four,problems of courses,materials,and teachers were proposed.And some improvement ways such as teaching programme,international exchange,teaching methods were raised.In conclusion part,main contents and points of this article were reviewed.Merits and demerits were also given. |
