The Teaching Method For Chinese Neologisms In The Teaching Of TCSL

This paper explores the new words teaching in TCFL by elobrates on the current situation of new words on different TCFL courses. And giving the suggestions to the selection criteria and teaching methods by not only refers to the statistical results of the Report on the Status of Chinese Language Life and Modern Chinese Standard Dictionary but also combines the predecessors’ researches.I hope that the priliminary study can offer help to the words teaching in TCFL,especially to the new words teaching in TCFL.The selection of new words of the existing TCFL teaching meterials appears the tendency of less amout overall and words’ amout of middle stage larger than primary stage and high level stage.The new words including in Outline of the Graded Volcabulary for HSK cannot meet the demands of the abroad students.What’s more,there’s less attention on the new words teaching in TCFL.This paper advises that the Outline of the Graded Volcabulary for HSK should be revised regulary and updating the selection criteria constantly,and also openning the courses that can reflect the transformation of Chinese.It should adopt flexible teaching methods based on different level of abroad students in TCFL.
