The Research Of Chinese Character Teaching In TCSL From Character Culture Perspective

All aspects in Chinese teaching have seen improvement as the development and growth of teaching Chinese as a second language(TCSL).Chinese Character teaching is of great importance and it is an indispensable component in TCSL.Chinese character learning is a chock point for a great number of western Chinese learners,which posts a serious challenge in their Chinese study.For now,Chinese character teaching lays focus on its function as a language tool rather than its cultural characteristics.There is a lack of study in Chinese character culture and its role in TCSL.This thesis is combined with five chapters as follows:Introduction:Study cause,topic meaning,topic context,topic method and present reseach stituation.Chapter One:The feasiblitIies and necessities of Chinese character cultural teaching in the practice of Chinese character teaching.Chapter Three:Analysis and discussion of appliance and ways of teaching of Chinese character culture in character teaching.Chapter Four:Principles of culture teaching in Chinese character teaching,which are mianly principles of rules of Chinese Character?principle of moderation,principle of interest,principle of teaching in accordance with aptitude.Chapter Five:The study and anylysis of individual classes for culture teaching in Chinese charcater teaching.Conclusion:A brief summary of this paper.
