An Exploration Of Root-seeking Road Of Wang Anyi In The Novel Anonymity

This paper takes some important works of Wang Anyi in some important stages of her more than thirty-year creative career as the research object,and takes Anonymous published in2015 as the starting point,using the method of text analysis to card the main thread of the creation of Wang Anyi's novels.And on this basis,the author finds out the writer's unremitting and constantly surpassing root-seeking theme in her process of creation.In 1985,Wang Anyi published the shocking novel “Xiao Baozhuang”,which represented the beginning of root-seeking literature.From My History to Documentary and Fiction,and to later Sad Pacific,the publication of a series of family root-seeking novels gives Wang Anyi's personal root-seeking a home.The emergence of The Song of Everlasting Sorrow and Tianxiang reflects the author's continuous and in-depth exploration of Shanghai culture.In the novel Heroes everywhere,the writer projects his eyes to the level of seeking people's spiritual world.The publication of long novel Anonymous creates another new height for the writer's root-seeking.In this novel,Wang Anyi reexamines and thinks a series of problems appeared in the process of modern civilization from the perspective of primitive space.Some questions like whether modern and primitive civilization can coexist or not and,whether the existent way of human beings need to be changed or not,etc,all show the writer's attitude of remarkable hero and her profound thinking to human history before such a grand proposition.The scope of root-seeking is expanded again,the breadth of root-seeking has more universal and extensive social significance.
