Research On Ritualized Communication Of Henan Opera In Rural Areas

In this paper,Henan Opera performance is regarded as a ritualistic behavior,which is combined with communication situation, communication media, communication signs and communication effect in communication, the communication behavior is investigated from the perspective of ritual communication. The author uses the fieldwork method,selects Shangshui County and Huaiyang County in Zhoukou City to do research,after participate many opera performances in the specific areas and interview representative audiences, the author reflects Ritualized behavior of Henan Opera.In the first chapter, the author introduces the research background and significance,presented the ritual, ritual drama and other basic concepts, then regarded Henan Opera performance as a ritual. After then,the paper introduces ritualized communication,the current situation of Henan Opera transmission and the spread of rural culture. On this basis, the author puts forward the innovation of this paper and then introduce the research method.In the second chapter, the author involves in the natural and humanistic environment of Henan Opera directly, explains the emergence and development of Henan Opera from diachronic perspective, and confesses the social environment and cultural background of Zhoukou city from synchronic perspective, which provided an effective and practical basis for the research of this paper.In the third chapter,the author focuses on solving the problem of ritualized presentation in Henan Opera. Through the participatory observation of Henan Opera performances, the author holds that the ritualization of the opera has three main aspects:the ritualization of communication situation, the ritualization of communication media and the ritualization of communication signs. The ritualization of communication situation refers to these scenes such as festivals and temple fairs, thank gods in farming,weddings or funerals, petitions and votive offices. the ritualization of communication media refers to the mobile stage, speakers, the use of TV. The ritualization of communication signs refer to the visualized language symbols and audible language symbols of Henan Opera that are stylized and popularized.In the fourth chapter,the author is devoted to solving the ritualized function of the spread in Henan Opera. The author chooses the opera audience of Huaiyang County in Zhoukou City as the interview object. Through the analysis of the continuous communication and interview with the audience, the author finds that the opera has a strong ritual function. It can give people emotional catharsis, educate citizens and replace opera roles at the individual level. It can give people carnival, take shape group norms,identity and belong to the group. at the group level.In the fifth chapter, the author contemplates the ritualization of Henan Opera in the countryside and interprets three existing phenomena: how to deal with the folk beliefs and feudal superstitions in the ritual of Henan Opera; how to distinguish the collective revelry and false prosperity; How to treat the sanctification and vulgarization combined in Henan Opera performance.At the end, on the basis of reflection, the author puts forward the suggestion of preserving the ritualization of Henan Opera and changing the existing plight of the opera:changing the ritualization of the opera is equivalent to the concept of feudal superstition.The government should improve the quality of Henan Opera and promote the "culture to the countryside" activities; adapt and innovate Henan Opera repertoire, enhance the ornamental value of opera; development of Henan Opera into the classroom mode,heritage Henan Opera performance.In ritualized perspective, the author puts Henan Opera into the background of cultural belief and communication system, and further to explore the ritual behavior of the villagers behind Henan Opera spread. This opens up a new path for the research of Henan Opera progress in rural China, and also give a good chance for the research of localization in communication.
