The author of QU SAO QIU ZHI is Yan Ximing who was born in late Qing Dynasty.It is a study of Chuci that was based on Zhu Xi's Connotation of ChuCi.In content,the core of QU SAO QIU ZHI is to find the poet's emotion and ambition.And there are its own research characteristics and advantages and much more academic value in this book.Its most obvious characteristic is knowing of the world.Aiming at some difficult problems,Yan Ximing gave several new answers.In the aspect of exegesis,Yan Ximing inherited the style of his predecessors,and divided this part into six aspects:finding problems,telling right from wrong,correcting mistakes,expanding others' annotation,giving new answers and leaving some questions.At the same time,as a valuable manuscript,it's necessary to make a study of QU SAO QIU ZHI.This paper include two main parts.The first one is to proofread QU SAO QIU ZHI And another one mainly studies the writer of this book,and its research characteristic.By studying of QU SAO QIU ZHI,I hope to provide the reference for Chuci study and exegesis of ancient texts.
