The Comparison Between Chinese And Spanish Of Modal Adverbs Of Proximity Leaded By "Jianzhi" And Their Corresponding Teaching Methods

The policy of opening and reformation greatly strengthens the tie between China and Latin America,thus the Shanghai International Studies University has become a hub for students from that area.However,compared to the well-developed theory of the Sino-English Comparison",few is achieved in the area of "Chinese-Spanish".Besides,as there are many studies of modal adverbs in Chinese,none are dedicated to the studies of comparison between adverbs with 【+proximity】semanteme.No need to say,these adverbs are no easy tasks for the learners.Usually the modal adverbs,as pragmatic markers,don’t play a crucial role in forming sentences.However,they’re very efficient in judging how fluent a speaker has become due to the very native essence of their kinds.There are four chapters in this thesis.Based on four modal adverbs which share the semanteme of 【+proximity】,the thesis focuses on finding the corresponding forms of them in Spanish.It is very complicated in terms of grammatical,semantical and pragmatical aspects,there’re many intersections between them.While in the aspect of correspondency,"Jīhū" is most frequently interpreted to Spanish,but the rest are not so.The thesis analyses the similarities and differences between modal adverbs of the two languages by means of the comparative methods,predicting the possible hard points for Spanish speakers and verifying our inferences through questionnaire,thus giving some advice to the local teachers so that they can have a basic knowledge of these adverbs in Spanish and can elaborate some correspondent methods in giving classes especially to students who come from the Spanish-speaking area.
