Decision is the common behavior in our daily life,in other words,people is making decision all the time,and the decision is the hot topic that psychology focuses on,researchers from the behaviors and neural mechanism two aspects to have a further study on decision.Previous studies had shown that the pressure will make difference in decision.The individual evaluation of the outcome of the decision will affect the subsequent decision.However,in this study,not only will researchers continuously discuss the effect of the pressure on individual unit,but also will perform a further study on what effect will be if the decisions are made under the pressure.In this study,the high temporal resolution ERP technique was used to investigate the neural mechanism of the effect of outcome evaluation on decision making under the pressure.First experiment using a simple gambling task and cold pressure experimental paradigm,to explore the result feedback to the neural mechanism that plays a important role on decision.The experiment use2(Pressure situation: under the pressure or not)*2(Money: 9,99)*2(Feedback result: lose or win)in trail design.Experiment shown that people are pursue risk benefit after losing 99.Under the pressure,the number of subjects selected 9 times more than that the non stress group,that means people will more tend to risk avoidance.From the study of FRN and P300,in the situation of losing money,the pressure conditions compared with the non pressure conditions the probability of induced by FRN is less,that's mean under the pressure,expectation of the result are tend to passive;P300 are not affected by pressure,only affected by the result whether win or lose,that's mean the people who gain money will have higher probability to induce P300 than the people who lose money.At the second experiment also uses the simple gambling task and cold pressure experimental paradigm,to explore the result feedback to the neural mechanism that plays a important role on decision.Experiment use 2(Pressure situation: under the pressure or not)*2(Money: 9,99)*4(Feedback result: lose or win,neither win nor lose,vague feedback)in trail design.The result shows that the group of under the pressure is more likely to chose 9 than the group of no pressure,and the feedback shows that the times of after plus chose 9 are obvious more than the feedback that chose 9.The FRN study found that losing have higherprobability to induce the FRN waveform than the benefit;And under the pressure,the probability are more likely to induce the FRN,indicates that people who under the pressure will tend to regard a vague result as a negative events.Through the study,finally the conclusions are following:Firstly,the results of the loss of feedback than the win of the results of feedback induced FRN amplitude is greater,while the win of the results of feedback than the results of the loss of feedback induced P300 amplitude greater;Secondly,no pressure than under pressure conditions,the loss of feedback results in greater FRN amplitude;Thirdly,compared with the non pressure condition,the subjects tend to be more risk averse after winning the feedback under the condition of pressure;Fourthly,the loss of the results of feedback and fuzzy outcome feedback than the win of the results of feedback and do not lose the results of feedback induced greater FRN amplitude;Fifthly,there is a greater pressure than the non pressure conditions,the results of fuzzy feedback than the results of the loss of feedback induced FRN amplitude greater;Finally,under the condition of pressure,the subjects will be regarded fuzzy result as negative feedback.
