Study On Wang Yangming's Thoughts Of Renovate The People

Wang Yangming's philosophy is known as School of Mind(Mind-theory),which focuses on Mind and Nature.Generally,results of research on Wang's philosophy are all about philosophy categories,such as "mind is principle","unity of knowledge and practice" and "extend the intuitive knowledge".However,Wang's thoughts of "renovate the people" is not researched enough.This paper begins with the thought of "renovate the people",and then extend around three sides: Wang's explanation on thought of "renovate the people" in ancient edition of the Great Learning is a status thought of "renovate the people" in Wang's philosophy and social and political practice of Wang's thought of "renovate the people",thus showing the meaning of thought of "renovate the people" in Wang's philosophy context thus highlighting political dimension in Wang's thought of "renovate the people".Furthermore,under the horizon of mind history,this article also studies inner logic between Wang's thought of "renovate the people" and change of policy and literature after middle-Ming period,then the way of how Wang thought and his strong appeal to rebuild world order are also researched.From the Whole of Wang Yangming's philosophy,his thought of "renovate the people" is not accidental.This is inseparable from his unique personal experience and the political and cultural environment.With the decline of neo-Confucianism and the deterioration of political ecology,Scholars' concept have also changed.Under the historical background at that time,Yangming,on the one hand,dissatisfied with the abuses of the study of Zhu Xi,criticized Master Zhu' Theory of New People and returned to Ancient-Script of Great Learning.and reinterpreted the "renovate the people" from the standpoint view of the heart of learning.On the other hand,the political conception of "De Jun Xing Dao" was unrealistic at that time,and turned to down the line of "people's way",and changed the subject of practice from "Monarch" to "People",which made the ordinary people become "Tao" bearer,this is different from Wang Yangming to Zhu Xi as the representative of the Song Dynasty Neo-Confucianism,but also his "renovate the people" thinking in the political field of expression.Frankly,emergence,development and maturity of Wang's thought of "renovate the people" is completed under the process of philosophical system construction and social practice,which gives his thought of "renovate the people" double character: mind and politics.He said,thought of means "renovate the people" in <Shang Shu ·Yao Dian>,Confucius' s "secure the people" and mencius' s " renovate relations and the people",which gives thought of "renovate the people" rich philosophy meaning.He believes the center of thought of "renovate the people" is the humanity of Confucianism,"Love the people","secure the people","teach the people" and "keep the people".This paper surrounded with thought of "renovate the people" and explains philosophical meaning of it through "extend the intuitive knowledge","illustrious virtue"(also translated into "highest virtue" or "bright virtue")and "integrating all created into the whole" based on the text interpretation theory of hermeneutics.In addition,under the Yangming's system of theory of mind,this paper carding theory relation between the thought of "renovate the people" and his core philosophy concept,and also to rebuild developing logic of Yangming's theory of mind.That is,Wang governs "illustrious virtue" and "renovate the people" by "extend the intuitive knowledge",regards the time.Wang tried to advocate "unity of knowledge and practice",claimed to "learn in practice",so his thought of "renovate the people" has strong reality concern and rich political direction: Wang's social and political practice of "renovate the people" extends into attending politics and education.On the one hand,he carried out open lectures frequently;on the other hand,he took all kinds of measures to benefit the people,whether it was during the time of quelling NingWang's civil or in an official place.In fact,Yangming's "loving people","securing people","teaching people","living people" is a closely practiced to achieve the pursuit of personality of Confucian's "inter sagelihood and outer kingliness" and political proposition of "return to the Three Generation".In conclusion,the study of Yangming's thought is not limited to the interpretation of the philosophical dimension,but also carries on the holistic thinking to the thought path of its "renovate the people" thought in Yangming's thought system,he presents its ideological value;In addition,from the perspective of social history,contact with the political ecology at that time and its "renovate the people" practice,It is also the main task of this paper to explore the interrelation between Yangming's thought of "renovate the people" and the reconstruction of social order and thinking about the mutual penetration of cultural ideals and political realities.At the same time,the thought of "renovate the people" of Yangming in the middle and late Ming Dynasty and modern times has been a certain response and influence,which makes it "renovate the people" thought different in historical backgrounds as presented,It is also important to summarize the main contents of Yangming's thought of renovate the people and analyze its history and modern interpretation,highlighting its ideological status and time significance.
