Research On The Vocabulary Of Leizhou Dialect

Leizhou dialect is the representative of Hokkienese dialect in western Guangdong.Leizhou dialect has 17 initial consonants including zero initial,47 finals and 8 tones.Taking the entries compiled in "Leizhou Dialect Dictionary" by Zhang Zhenxing and Cai Yeqing as the research object,this article exhaustively analyses and classifies all the entries and systematically investigates formation method of the Leizhou dialect vocabulary.The article analyses word formation in Leizhou dialect.It briefly analyses the formation of simple words,which includes monosyllabic,disyllabic and loan words.It focuses on discussing ways of word formation of the compounding words including compounding,affixation and overlapping.It also discusses the formation of fixed phrase such as Leizhou idioms,and explains word formation in Leizhou dialect from a cultural perspective.The article is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the research status of Fujian dialect vocabulary and grammar and the research status of Leizhou dialect.It determines the main research contents,research significance,research methods and writing process.The second part is the main part,which is the study of word formation of Leizhou dialect.It consists of five chapters.The second chapter is the analysis of simple words,divided into monosyllabic,disyllabic,use of ancient Chinese vocabulary phenomenon and Xundu phenomenon is more obvious,more single syllable words.The third chapter to the fifth chapter are the analysis of compounding words including compounding,affixation and overlapping.The sixth chapter is the analysis of Leizhou dialect vocabulary in foreign words.The third part is to study the composition and cultural interpretation of idioms of Leizhou dialect.The seventh chapter is the composition and cultural interpretation of idioms,including proverbs,idioms,idioms and everyday sayings.The idioms of Leizhou dialect is rich and complex with a variety of ways,which is the experience from people's life,and now becomes fixed word.This chapter explain the regionalculture contained in the idioms,including marine culture,climate culture,and life culture.The fourth part is the conclusion.Based on the previous analysis,the conclusion is drawn.Facing the shortcomings of this article,supplement and improvement can be made in the future study.
