| Based on reflective teaching method,this case study aims at doing a survey on the current status of the teaching of foreign language teachers.Under the team’s discussion,this case study will observe three round classes of two English teachers.From the perspective of the case study,we can deep into the classroom of the first-line foreign language teachers.In this way,it will be much helpful for us to analysis the problems that have existed.The basic problems in this research are as follows: Is there any relationship between reflective teaching and case discussion?How to do reflective teaching under team’s case discussion?This research adopts qualitative research method.It launched in a university of Hubei Province.There are 15 members of the team,which include 1 professors,6teachers,and 8 postgraduates.It analysis the changes of the three round classes by using interviewing and observing methods.Moreover,we can analysis it from the teacher’s reflection diary and student feedback.The paper consists of three partsThe first part is the first chapter,which includes the background,research design,research process,research methods and literature review.The second part is from the second chapter to the fifth chapter,it is a process to the case analysis,details are all from the three round classes.The basic model of case analysis is as follows: Firstly,have a basic information of the two teachers;Secondly,write and interview two teachers from the different stages of the three classes;Lastly,analysis the result of two teachers under the reflection of changes in the case discussion.The third part is the sixth chapter of the thesis,which is the conclusion of this study.It answers the questions raised in the research.From this study,we can conclude as the following: First,The two teachers will reflect themselves after class,but it has no real effect due to the absence of guidance from the professor.Second,case discussion in a group is really helpful for them to have a better reflection about their own teaching,which is also good for them toimprove their class.Third,case discussion in a group need a lot of people and time,it is not easy to penetrate this activities into front-line teachers’ usual class.Therefore,How to use new technology to solve the problem is the further thinking of this study. |
