In recent years,tourism has become an increasingly popular recreation which also boost the relevant industries and cultural activities.As people’s material life improves,their cultural needs have become more urgent than ever before,which has placed a further push on design of tourist books and magazines.Especially after the reform and opening up,the designing of both the external appearance and internal structure of those kinds of books has been increasingly improved and become more stabilized over time.In addition.There are more concerns on signaling humanistic care for their artistic,cultural and functional values,therefore,it is important to cater to both the cultural and the human needs of the audience,which should be held dear and further explored on the part of designers,where still need more attention to be given by designers in future.The humanistic care,in most cases,means catering to the desire for humanity and representing the demand for culture as well as for the spiritual life of human beings.Actually we can see it in all aspects of art and various designing fields.While in tourist book designing,design forms are the ways to materialize sprit and culture,and the functional meaning thus reflected is the so called humanistic care that has no cultural connotations but functional connotations.
