The Study For The Musical Instrument Culture Of Wa Ethnic In Ma San Village,Xi Men,Yun Nan

This paper attempts to study the musical instruments culture of the Ma San Wa ethnic,from its musical feature,production process and usage mode.And on this basis,utilizing the methods of ethnomusicology,folklore and other methods,combined with a large number of field fact,research the instruments of Ma San Wa ethnic and the symbiotic relationship concerning all parts that constitute the culture of Ma San Wa ethnic from an integrated whole.In the investigation,the musical instrument of Ma San Wa ethnic plays many important social roles in religion and folk activities.Under these roles and functions,the production and usage of the instruments should be matched with the role of the players,such behaviour can reflect the people's concept of instruments of Ma San Wa ethnic to a certain extent,and as well their concept of the world.These concepts also play an important role in the production and use of musical instruments of the Ma San Wa ethnic,thus forming a unique musical landscape.As a result of the primitive society,the musical instruments of Ma San Wa ethnic can reflect the history of them as direct transition ethnic and also the change of their society.The musical instruments of Ma San Wa ethnic were created and inherited in the maintenance of their folk custom and religious activities,strongly interacted with social production,social structure and spiritual beliefs.
