An Analysis On The Composition And Performance Of Cuishiguang's Piano Suite <Pianofoster>

This paper is trying to analysis the piano suite of“Pianofoster”,which is composed by Cui Shiguang?Mr.Cui Shiguang(1948-)is a famous composer and pianist,for years has been devoted to the creation of piano music,made great contributions to the integration of Chinese and Western music.The creation style is diverse,the material selection perspective is novel and spread widely all over the world.The work“Pianoforster”is his creation during stay in the US,which is his understanding of American music in 20 Century.The work has a unique creative ideas,and applied to the Chinese five tone elements,cause it is more embodies the connotation of Chinese style.This paper is divided into three chapters,the first is a initial understanding of Cui Shiguang's music creation;The second is to analysis of the work“Pianofster”;The third chapter is to analysis the performance of“Pianofoster”and to explore the Cui Shiguang's“Chinese and Western integration”of the music vocabulary and to discover the application of personality style in the teaching of performance.
