This paper is trying to analysis the piano tracks of "Three impromptus"(1998), which is recomposed from Liu Tianhua’s same-titled urheen tracks by Cui Shiguang(1948-).Besides the research of create background and musical composition, this thesis will also refer to how a urheen tracks can recompose into a brilliant piano tracks, and how a melodist can unite Western compose skills and Chinese traditional element with no boundaries. Writer will also evaluate the significant historical value of this piano tracks based on her own performance experience.As a notable composer of the moment in China, Cui Shiguang is applying himself to the piano musical compose for years, especially made a huge contribution on integrations of Chinese and Western. A large amount of his piano works is wide spread at home and abroad, getting a favorable reputation at the same time. Cui is major in piano performance in China, and he always keep the enthusiasm on Chinese traditional music when he learning compose theory and skills oversea. So many of his piano composition is create based on our Chinese traditional music, these works make a great achievement on union of Chinese and western musical elements, it’s led up to meaningful afterthoughts.
