Beethoven is a great composer and pianist in the classical period.He has made rem arkable achievements in the creation and performance.The most prominent achievements was the creation of his 32 piano sonatas and 9 symphonies.Beethoven's Piano Sonata "Storm"(OP.31,NO.2)was completed in 1802,which is also one of Beethoven's most well-known and favorite sonata.This sonata is a full of distinctive content,classical spirit and music style.With the development of modern science and technology,recording photography technology has evolved with leaps and bounds,enabling a better promotion of the piano playing and teaching.Thanks to the large amount of video and audio materials about music,people's ability to appreciate music has also been greatly improved nowadays.Comparing the different recording versions of the same work and analyzing the different styles of the works by different performers could explore the more reasonable understanding of the works,so as to show the connotation and charm of the works.This paper chooses five versions of recording,namely Claudio Arau,William Kempf,Emir Gilles,Daniel Barron Bullim,Chen Sa.The full text is divided into five large parts,namely Beethoven and his piano sonata "storm",playing version selection and overview of players' style,the features of each version,inspiration and conclusions.The main part of this paper analysis the first movement of "storm" from four aspects: the speed of time,sound,intensity processing and sub-sentence.
