Text Research On Stories About King Zhuang Of Chu During Pre-Qin And Han Dynasties

King Zhuang of Chu names Lv,he is the ruler of state Chu during B.C.613 to B.C.591,reigned twenty three years.During his domination,King Zhuang of Chu led the people of Chu beat the “barbarians” around state,marched north and defeated state Jin,let the territory of Chu expended to the south of the Yellow River.Inside kingdom Chu,king Zhuang of Chu appointed SunShuao,developed the economy of state Chu,cared about the well being of his own people,let state Chu became a strong state during the spring and autumn period,king Zhuang of Chu himself also became an overlord of the spring and autumn period,descender revere him as one of the great five overlords.Records about king Zhuang of Chu are very opulent,with the writer's incomplete statistics,there were fifty-nine stories classified to thirty-one types.But there were such a phenomenon in king Zhuang of Chu's stories,the same story has different versions,some crucial facts between the different versions are diverse,it makes scholars hard to distinct the fact of history.This article chooses four typical stories from the stories of king Zhuang of Chu,they are “After king Zhuang of Chu enthroned,King won't handle the affairs of state”,“King Zhuang of Chu invaded kingdom Song”,”King Zhuang of Chu asked for the cauldron” and “King Zhuang of Chu appointed the son of SunShuao”.Besides,in the view of story type,these four stories are four different story types,they are “The text of different characters”,“The text of different plots”,“The text of different dialogues” and “The text of character in other story”.Through the analysis of these four story types,we can extract the different narrative characteristics of these four story types,and then deepen our comprehension of historical stories,also,historical texture research always depends on stories,to deepen our comprehension to stories can impel historical scholars rethink the value of stories in historical research,deepen our research on history.We can get some conclusions,first,stories often changing,it means most stories have been changed and is not the original version.Second,stories with similar plots but different characters may derived from the same archetype,such as the story “After king Zhuang of Chu enthroned,King won't handle the affairs of state” which discussed in this article,may be an imagination of the author and is not a fact.The last point,the author of the story is influenced by his political,moral or academic inclination,which means the story should also has its inclination,and bring difficulties to historical research.
