From Rationality To Sensibility-The Exploration Of Painting Space

Painting is a space art that performs three-dimensional space in the two-dimensional plane canvas,which is the charm of painting.Domestic and foreign painting scholars have had many achievements in the performance of painting space.Based on the summary of the achievements of predecessors at home and abroad,this paper discusses my views of painting space by combining with personal creative experience.The study shows that Chinese traditional painting and Western painting belong to two different culture and arts,although there are differences in the performance of the painting space,there are similarities.The spatial representation of Chinese painting pays more attention to the image performance,and the organization of the picture is typical of freedom and mobility;while Western painting pays more attention attention to realistic space,and to a certain extent,it can be said to be still.But whether it is the image performance of Chinese painting,or the real reproduction of Western painting,the painting space they create has its own unique beauty.In the first chapter,this paper expounds the meaning of space and painting space,and the relationship from the former to the latter.The second chapter introduces the characteristics and application of spatial representation in Chinese and western painting.Chinese traditional painting uses scattered perspective in the space,which beyond restrictions from time and region.As walking along,there are multiple viewpoints and vanishing points in the picture.The artists' perspectives are constantly moving and absorbing useful scenes to round the scenes at all times in their own pictures in order to stretch the picture space wider and longer,and the pictures' contents are also very rich.Blanking is also a major feature of Chinese painting,and it doesn't mean unfinished,but a way of the painter intending to show the actual situation of a method.In the figure painting,smooth lines and superimposed ink open the relationship between the characters.In the Western painting,the masters have always loved the focus perspective to pursue the realistic picture space.Oil painting is a type of painting using color,and it naturally can not do without the color changes in the space performance.The brightness of color makes the pictures pull levels in the brightness,and then the relationship becomes clear.Atmospheric perspective hinder the visual effect with the help of a variety of media in the air,and theimage of the object is almost near solid far empty,and warm and cold color changes.The third chapter mainly appreciates master works to show their beauty of space from the bright and dark space and color space of the painting.In the fourth chapter,based on the forefathers' analysis of the painting space,the author sums up the influence of the subjective thinking controlling the whole picture in the creation of the picture space and the time of the space on painting.
