Happiness is an important part of positive psychology research.Based on different philosophical background,happiness is divided into two research orientations: subjective well-being(SWB)and psychological well-being(PWB).Subjective well-being is a comprehensive psychological measure of people's quality of life,is the evaluation of the individual's overall quality of life assessment.Psychological well-being is the evaluation of the degree of realization of the good state and potential of human mental function.At present,the study of subjective well-being at home and abroad is more common,and the study of psychological well-being is still less.In this study,three high school students from Shijiazhuang,Xingtai and Hengshui were investigated by "family intimacy and fitness scale","self-esteem scale" and "psychological well-being scale",To understand the basic situation of high school students' family function,self-esteem and psychological well-being.and to explore the relationship between the three variables,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)In this study,the family function of high school students is good.There were no significant differences in the degree of high school students' family intimacy and adaptability in terms of gender,place of origin,grade,whether they were born alone or not.On main caregivers,high school students' family intimacy and adaptability were significantly different,and parents take care together to get the highest score.(2)On the whole,the level of self-esteem of high school students is developing well.There was significantly different in the degree of high school students' self-esteem in terms of gender,but there were no significant differences in terms of place of origin,grade,whether they were born alone or not,main caregivers.(3)The psychological well-being of high school students is above the middle level,which in the dimension of personal growth and positive relationship with others to show a higher psychological well-being;There were no significant differences in the degree of high school students' psychological well-being in terms of place of origin and whether they were born alone or not;There is no significant difference inthe total score of psychological well-being in gender,while girls than boys show a higher psychological well-being in the dimensions of personal growth and positive relationship with others;There is no significant difference in the total score of psychological well-being in grade,while the third grade show a higher psychological well-being in the dimensions of personal growth;There were no significant differences in the degree of high school students' psychological well-being in terms of main caregivers.There were significant differences in the dimensions of the environmental mastery and positive relationship with others,and the parents take care together had the highest level of psychological well-being.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between the three variables of high school students' family function,self-esteem and psychological well-being.(5)Self-esteem plays a partial mediating role between family function and psychological well-being.
